Green Ideas!
The deterioration of our planet began the moment it came to exist. Unfortunately our undeniable reliance on the environment has exceeded the ability to provide without suffering severe consequences. Our unbridled consumption, economic growth, materialism, poor developmental planning and a booming population had a destructive impact on the earth.
Fortunately there is a social and political movement to create change for protection and restoration of our environment. The result is a new subculture of people working at the local, national and global levels to create awareness about and provide solutions for the problems facing our planet. We call this ‘going green.’
‘Going Green’ is about the environment. It is about taking action to limit pollution, reduce consumption, recycle, preserve natural resources and finding alternative energies and materials to meet our consumption needs.
By wearing and using our great ‘Go Green’ products you can be a part of this exciting trend to raise awareness and inspire the public about the need for everyone to environmentally responsible. Our ‘Go Green’ products are part of the solution and a chance for you to take action and do your part in GOING GREEN!

Think about this:
Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a TV for three hours.
Every winter, the energy equivalent of all the oil that flows through the Alaskan pipeline in a year leaks through windows
At least 38.9% of the U.S. waste stream is paper.
If every household reused a grocery bag for one shopping trip, it would save about 60,000 trees.
We can keep 200 million pounds of plastic out of landfills if Americans recycled just one out of 10 plastic bottles they use.
One out of every six U.S. trucks is a garbage truck.
If we recycled all of the newspapers printed in the U.S. on a typical Sunday, it would save aapproximately 26 million trees per year.

Glass never wears out -- it can be recycled forever.
Recycling creates ten times as many jobs as land-filling.
Americans throw away 25,000,000 plastic beverage bottles every hour.
1,000,000 sea creatures are killed each year by the plastic garbage thrown into the ocean.
Rainforests are being cut down at the rate of 100 acres per minute.
1/3 of the water used in most homes is flushed down the toilet.
80% of what Americans throw away is recyclable.
Every day American business generates enough paper to circle the earth 20 times.
